Establishing the Foundation

This is when you say ‘YES’ to Jesus, inviting Him to exchange your life for His, repenting of your sins and making the decision to follow Him.

Being water baptised is an important step on the believer’s journey. It represents the laying down of the old life and being raised new in Christ.

Before ascending to heaven, Jesus told His disciples to ‘wait in Jerusalem’ for the gift of the Holy Spirit. This promise is to all believers.

Jesus didn’t come to be served but to serve others. He did this by ministering to their immediate needs and ultimately, He laid down His life so that we could live. Our call as disciples is to follow His example.

Disciples are givers. They give their time, their heart, their talents, their money and their lives. It’s the heart of the Father. We give because He gave first – He gave His only Son that we might receive His life.

Jesus left us with what is called ‘The Great Commission’ – Go, therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, teaching them to everything I commanded you.
